We are delighted to welcome you to Tous les jours Dimanche!

Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our terms & conditions and house rules set out below. By following these guidelines, we can ensure a safe, pleasant, and carefree experience for everyone. Please read them carefully to avoid any misunderstandings or deductions from your security deposit upon check-out. If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let us know so we can clarify any questions you may have.

Terms of Use

These general terms and conditions apply to every reservation regarding the tourist rental of our Romantic Gîte in Burgundy “Tous les jours Dimanche”. By making a reservation, the tenant declares that they have read and agreed to these terms & conditions and house rules.

House Rules

Respect: please treat the property with the same care and respect as you would your own home. We have put a lot of effort into creating a comfortable space for all our guests.
Cleanliness: please keep the property tidy and clean during your stay. This makes the check-out process much easier for everyone.
Noise Disturbance: we hope you have a wonderful time and enjoy your stay! However, we kindly ask you to be mindful of the peaceful nature of the hamlet and to respect the night-time rest of our neighbours and the surrounding area.
Caring for nature: We have installed an ecological water treatment system where aquatic plants naturally purify the water. To maintain the balance of this delicate ecosystem, we kindly ask you to exclusively use the eco-friendly products provided in the gîte. We provide shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, and toilet paper. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own preferred products, provided they are biodegradable.
Arrival and Departure: standard check-in and check-out times are 3:00 pm (in) and 11:00 am (out). Depending on our booking calendar, we can be flexible regarding these times upon request. Please let us know in advance what time you expect to arrive.
Visitors: receiving guests in the gîte or garden and/or allowing more or different persons to stay overnight than those specified in the booking is only permitted after prior consultation with us. Tous les jours Dimanche reserves the right to refuse such permission.
Liability: the use of the holiday home and its associated facilities (garden, stairs, BBQ, open fire) during your stay is entirely at your own risk. Tous les jours Dimanche accepts no liability for injuries, accidents, theft, loss, or damage of any kind, occurring during or as a result of a stay in the holiday home and guest garden. The tenant and those accompanying them are jointly and severally liable for all loss and/or damage incurred by Tous les jours Dimanche and/or any third party as a direct or indirect result of their stay, regardless of whether this was caused by their own actions or omissions, or those of third parties present on the premises through them.
Security Deposit: €250 per stay, the security deposit is intended to ensure responsible use of the holiday home. Additionally, it will be used to settle energy consumption exceeding the included basic supply of electricity and pellets, as well as to cover any costs resulting from damage to or loss of the furnishings and/or inventory.
Accidental Damage: in the event of accidental, permanent stains on bath towels, kitchen linens, bedding, duvets, the sofa, club chair, or mattress, as well as damage to the wooden worktops or other property of Tous les jours Dimanche, we will assess the situation and determine whether and which costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
Heating and Energy:
For a worry-free stay, a generous basic supply of energy is included:

-Electricity: 15 kWh per day is included. Excess consumption is charged at €0.27 per kWh, based on meter readings at arrival and departure.

-Heating: We provide an ample starter supply of pellets, tailored to the season and the length of your stay. Additional bags (15 kg) are available for €7.50 each.

-Electric Charging: You can use our 220V charging point. This is charged at the same rate of €0.27 per kWh.
Folding Bicycles: upon request, we can provide one or two folding bicycles. Their use is entirely at your own risk, and you are fully responsible for the correct and safe use of the bicycles. We strongly recommend always securing the bikes to a fixed object so they cannot be taken without forcing the lock. Tous les jours Dimanche accepts no liability for theft, loss, material damage, physical injury, or accidents resulting from the use of the folding bicycles. In the event of any damage, loss, or costs resulting from theft or improper use, the expenses will be entirely your responsibility.
BBQ and Open Fires: Permitted, except during dry periods or when a fire ban is in effect. If in doubt: do not use them and contact us. You are responsible for informing yourself about and complying with any local fire bans in force. Any damage or fines resulting from non-compliance with such bans will be entirely your responsibility.
Departure and Handover: We kindly ask that you do not leave any dirty dishes, and ensure the refrigerator is emptied and cleaned. If the barbecue has been used, it must also be left clean. Please place all rubbish in the designated bins. On the day of departure, upon leaving the gîte, we will inspect the property together, including the meter readings, and you are required to hand over the key in person.

Booking and Payments

The booking is final upon receipt of the deposit. If payment is not received within 5 days of the reservation confirmation, the booking will expire and the calendar will be reopened for other guests.

The nightly rate includes:

unlimited use of the projector and Wi-Fi, water, a basic supply of pellets and electricity, and biodegradable products for the kitchen and bathroom (washing-up liquid, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo).
sufficient kitchen linens and bath towels.
a freshly made bed with extra pillows and cosy blankets.
coffee, tea, and sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil & balsamic vinegar and vegetable stock cubes for the first day(s).
kitchen roll, toilet paper, baking parchment, and aluminium foil, rubbish bags and charcoal for the BBQ

The nightly rate excludes:

security deposit (€250), mandatory final cleaning fee (€65), and mandatory tourist tax (€0.77 per person/per night).
Energy consumption (deducted from the security deposit)
extra pellets (€7.50/15kg) and/or potential additional electricity consumption; this will be calculated based on the individual meter reading at a rate of €0.27/kWh.

Tous les jours Dimanche charges the following amounts, starting from the date of the reservation confirmation :

Deposit: Following the confirmation of your enquiry (via email, WhatsApp, telephone, the contact form on our website, or via bedandbreakfast.eu), a deposit of 30% of the total invoice amount is required (including rent, security deposit, cleaning fee, and tourist tax). This must be paid within 5 days of confirmation. If payment is not received on time, your reservation will be cancelled.

Payments are to be made exclusively via the payment details on our website www.touslesjoursdimanche.fr or via bank transfer; in the latter case, bank details will be sent to you by email.

The remaining 70% of the total amount must be settled 42 days prior to arrival.

Refund of security deposit: the deposit (after deduction of any damages or excess energy consumption) will be refunded no later than 5 days after checkout to the account used for the original payment.

For reservations where the arrival date falls within 42 days of the booking date, the standard deposit policy does not apply, and the full amount (100%) must be paid immediately upon receipt of the confirmation.

Cancellation Procedures

Any cancellation request must be reported immediately in writing by email. Tous les jours Dimanche applies the following cancellation fees, depending on the date of the written cancellation :

Tous les jours Dimanche will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

for cancellations more than 90 days before the start of the rental period: 0% of the rental sum due (full refund of your deposit)
for cancellations from 90 days (inclusive) up to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the total rental sum is due
for cancellations from 42 days (inclusive) up to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the total rental sum is due
for cancellations from 28 days (inclusive) up to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the total rental sum is due
for cancellations from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the total rental sum is due

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total sum of the overnight stays. In the event of a cancellation, any amounts already paid for the security deposit, cleaning fee, and tourist tax will be refunded in full

In the event of early departure or cancellation on the day of arrival, no refund will be given for the total price of the overnight stays. In such cases, only the security deposit (after settlement of any excess consumption and/or damages) and the (remaining) tourist tax will be refunded

In the event of demonstrable force majeure—a serious, unforeseen event that makes a further stay impossible—we will refund the price of the overnight stays in proportion to the nights not spent

We recommend taking out your own cancellation and liability insurance to protect yourself against risks and unforeseen circumstances

Cancellation by Tous les jours Dimanche

We reserve the right to cancel the reservation or the stay in the event of force majeure (government restrictions, fire, water damage, natural disaster, prolonged power or water failure) or unforeseen circumstances that make your stay impossible.

In such a rare event, we will inform you as soon as possible, and all payments (including deposits) already received will be fully refunded.

You shall not be entitled to any additional compensation or damages.

Where possible, we will offer an equivalent alternative subject to availability. You are under no obligation to accept this alternative; if no suitable alternative is available, all payments received will be refunded in full.
